Today Redeemer honored Ed Roberts on his 95th birthday. The celebration was made extra special by the presence of representatives of the Pleasant Valley Connection a community service organization Ed founded over 30 years ago.

After a morning of bowling, all were served lunch and got to pick out a donated book to take home. Good deeds done locally have a positive impact, and fill hearts with joy – including the hearts of volunteers.
Sunday June 28th, our Church’s “Summer of Service” program involved volunteering at the Samaritan House, a charitable organization that provides food to 100 needed families in our community.
Church volunteers prepared lunch yesterday for 150 First Responders as part of our “Summer of Service” (S. O. S.) project. We are grateful for the excellent services they provide our community every day. May God bless and keep them safe.
