New Vestry Commissioned at the Annual Meeting

Sunday, January 28, we commission our new vestry members. A vestry in the Episcopal Church is a leadership group, overseeing legal aspects of the parish’s life and serving as spiritual leaders. When we commission them, they agree “to exercise their ministry to the honor of God and the well-being” of the church. Volunteer work at a church is definitely a ministry, and we are thankful for the many volunteers that comprise the body, ministry, and life of the church.
