Everyone is invited to participate in our 2024 Lenten study: Witness at the Cross.
Last year we really enjoyed a study of Holy Week by Amy Jill Levine. She wrote Witness at the Cross, as well. We will again dive into her book, watch the DVD, and engage one another in reflection and conversation. We begin our time together with soup and bread. Join in at whatever level is right for you: any combination of reading the book, watching and listening to the videos, or just the meal.
Come and see how the people at the cross each have distinct roles in the crucifixion. How do those roles speak to us today? Let’s find out, together.
When: Tuesdays in Lent, except the first class will be Monday, February 19th
(the vestry meets on the 20th): February 19, 27: March 5, 12, 19, 26
