Sabbatical Information

The Church of the Redeemer is planning a great summer!

Services, programming, Christian Ed and other offerings and activities continue.

Fr. David Upton will celebrate Redeemer’s services of Holy Eucharist every Sunday and Wednesday at our usual time of 9:30am. (One exception: no service on Wednesday, July 3)

Join the vestry and other parishioners in reading a book on Sabbath time. “Sabbath,” by Wayne Muller. You may pick up a copy in the narthex or order one on your own.

Join in the fun and post about your summer adventures with photos of “flat Jesus and the lambs;” wherever you may find yourselves! Let’s see Jesus at church, the beach, on picnics, hikes – where else will you go?

PRAYER FOR SABBATICAL: Gracious God, pour out your loving Spirit upon Redeemer in this season of rest, renewal, and refreshment. Open our hearts, minds, and hands to know and serve you in life-giving ways. Stir up in us the desire to make you our first and last thought each day. Give us the will to listen deeply and follow faithfully where you lead. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
