Each summer The Church of the Redeemer offers a fun and faith-filled week for about 40 children from Redeemer and Pleasant Valley Connection. Over 20 volunteers from church family and friends help make this event happen!
We find many moments of blessing during the week:
- pure joy when a child’s face lights up just from seeing you in the morning!
- listening to one another and the Spirit.
- a boy, wise beyond his years, who is thankful for “a roof over my head and food on the table.”
- knowing that our adult volunteers get even more out of VBS than the children do.
