Our campus sits on approximately 4.7 acres on Mauldin Road in Greenville SC, minutes from the Augusta Road business corridor, downtown Greenville and S. Pleasantburg Dr/Highway 291.
Our main worship area includes a contemporary wooden cross, oak paneling, altar, and pews. The stained glass windows along one wall, coming to life when the sun shines through them. The theme of the windows is Jesus the Redeemer, and each window represents one of the ways Jesus is described in the Gospel according to John.
One-story education and office wings branch off the worship area and also connect with the parish hall. Now named Purser Hall in honor of the Reverend Philip Purser, Redeemer’s rector from 1981-2000, the parish hall corridor also includes the choir office, practice rooms and a large kitchen used for social gatherings and parish activities.
A secure, fenced playground area is easily accessible from the education wing of the building.
The entire building surrounds an open garden space which is filled with azaleas in all colors, numerous flowering bulbs, dogwood trees, and an old oak. This area, known as a “garth,” is a garden area in which cremains of parishioners and friends are buried.
