Gary Powell in the Ukraine

Gary Powell, Redeemer’s missionary in the Ukraine is doing well. He is featured this month in the One Collective Email Newsletter. The article titled ” Transforming the Rroma Communities” is very enlightening about the presence of Christ in the Ukraine.

” And just a year ago Gary visited the Rroma camp in Shakhta where one Christian family lived and was ostracized by the rest of the Rroma in the camp.  Gary was told that the residents of the camp would have nothing to do with him, but God had other plans.  Little by little the other families would invite Gary to
come into their homes and pray for them. 
Now a small group of believers gather each Sunday together in this camp. “
