On Sunday, July 15, we celebrated summer with cookies and lemonade on the lawn, and a visit from Pink Mama’s Ice Cream truck! The weather held out and it was a joyful follow-up to our 9:30 service. Here are some photos courtesy of David Poleski:
Today’s event in our Church’s “Summer of Service” involved over 50 children from Pleasant Valley Connection. After a morning of bowling, all were served lunch and got to pick out a donated book to take home. Good deeds done locally have a positive impact, and fill hearts with joy – including the hearts of volunteers.
Sunday June 28th, our Church’s “Summer of Service” program involved volunteering at the Samaritan House, a charitable organization that provides food to 100 needed families in our community.
