Music at Redeemer

The Gallery Choir

ChoirThe choir rehearses every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 and Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:15.  Singers are not required to be trained, but need to have the ability to learn the parts and be committed to Sundays and Wednesdays.

We have a joint handbell choir with Trinity United Methodist Church.  We meet Wednesdays at 6:00 in Trinity's Choir Room.  We are always looking for extra ringers and substitute ringers.

Come join us in our music program!

The Gallery and Organ

galleryRedeemer's pipe organ was built by the Wicks Company in 1970 and has four ranks, two manuals, pedals, and a Zimblestern.  It was moved from the Chancel to the Gallery when the Chancel was redone.  No major work has been done to the instrument since it was installed except to move it and to completely clean it in 2012.  There is now a fund in place to rebuild and inlarge our instrument.  If you would like to help, go to the GIVE page and click on Shirley T. Campbell Memorial Organ Fund.  Every penny helps us reach our goal.  No gift is too small or too large.  We hope to begin the work the Sunday after Easter.  The choir will be relocated to the Transept while the work is being done.  An electronic substitute will be used until the organ is playable again.  Keep watching for more details!
